You have a counsellor in” Him”
I am delighted to bring you this information straight from the word of God. In Isaiah 9:6, God supplied information that is needed for such a time as this. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called wonderful, counsellor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting father, the Prince of Peace.
The word Counsellor means: a person trained to give guidance on personal or psychological problems. In our world today, there are many questions and unresolved issues that we often do not have answers to.
I know that you, my reader, are not left out of many unanswered questions or probably matters in which you wish you know what to do. I wish to tell you that the counsellor is near. He understands your sighs and yearnings. He says in Matthew 11:28-29a, Come unto me all you that labour and are heavy laden, I will give you rest. He says: take my yoke upon you……
What is Jesus’s yoke, you may ask? It is all about you! Is 53: 4 says; surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows. He went to the cross with this burden to die in your place. He left his throne in heaven to die for your sins, to give you an eternal life instead of eternal damnation. He is the Prince of Peace! Can you see that he cares about you? That peace can be yours today if you just come to him. Would you?
